    • Program Introduction

      The Start-up Incentive Scheme is the provision of business start-up incentives to smallholders or AIR who intend to start or just run a business. Start-up also refers to entrepreneurs in the Pico category whose business is still in the early stages of establishment and up to a certain period that has achieved sales of less than RM60,000.00 per year. After one year of participating in this scheme, entrepreneurs are expected to achieve sales exceeding RM60,000.00 per year.

    • Assistance Program Terms
      1. The applicant must be a smallholder or AIR who has not started a business or
      2. Applicants who have been in business for less than 3 years with sales of less than RM60,000.00 per year.
    • Assistance Rate
      1. Individual Start-up Incentive Scheme

      The maximum limit of Individual Start-up Incentive Scheme assistance is RM10,000.00 per family. Assistance must follow a set scope based on the applicant's business needs. Priority must be given to components under the scope of assistance that can help generate an income of at least RM2,500.00 per month per family.

    • Application Method

      All Additional Economic Activity Project applications must be completed using the application form format provided. This application form must also be included with the business plan worksheet.

    • Program Introduction

      The Nano Incentive Scheme is a Business Start-up Incentive that focuses on Product Development/Production especially for smallholder entrepreneurs or AIR in the Nano category, that is, those who have started a business for a certain period of time and have obtained sales between RM60,000.00 to RM150,000.00 per year. After one year of participating in this scheme, entrepreneurs are expected to achieve sales exceeding RM150,000.00 per year.

      1. Machines & equipment
      2. New construction or renovation of workshops/ business premises.
      3. Build new or renovate fences/ enclosures/ coops/ ponds.
      4. Site preparation costs./li>
      5. Livestock breeds
      6. Raw materials/ agricultural inputs
      7. Fodder & medicines
      8. Business sign
      9. Insurance Protection of premises/ equipment/ machines/
      10. Other business inputs approved by the State/District RISDA Entrepreneurship Program Committee

    • Requirement
      1. Through recruitment screening and undergoing psychometric tests.
      2. Ready and willing to attend any type of training and course.s
      3. Download the RISDA Entrepreneur Delivery System (REDS) application on Play Store and update transaction records consistently.
      4. Running a full-time business.
      5. Willing to increase capacity and self-ability in expanding the business.
    • Target group
      • Small Farmers (entrepreneurs) Malaysian citizens or household members
      • Priority for replanting participants who are still in aid
      • Preference to B40 Category applicants
      • Smallholders aged between 18-60 years

      Local companies, RISDA Owned Companies (SMR), Small Farmer Cooperatives (KPK) or Micro Category Entrepreneurs and above who are appointed to develop entrepreneurs through the package offered by the company and have signed an agreement document with RISDA.

      Packages approved in JIPKRIS include:

      1. Machines & equipments

      5. Livestock breeds

      Integrator Start up Incentive Scheme: RM20,000.00/ person

    • Selection of Integrators
      • PRD/PRN/BPU recommends companies that meet the criteria as integrators.
      • The proposal of the Integrator Company is brought to JIPKRIS for approval of program implementation.
      • BPU issued the Integrator appointment letter and the RISDA-Integrator agreement.
    • Selection of Entrepreneurs
      • The selection of interested participants is the result of the screening of e-Recruitment and e-SPeK.
      • Passed the interview with the Integrator Company.
    • Target groups
      1. Small Farmers (entrepreneurs) Malaysian Citizens or Household Members.
      2. Priority for replanting participants who are still in aid.
      3. Preference to Category B40 applicants.
      4. Smallholders aged between 18-60 years.

      1. Have received AET assistance.
      2. The business has been operating for at least 1 year before the Covid-19 pandemic.
      3. A reduction of at least 50% of income compared to before the Covid-19 pandemic.
