    Objectives

     Ensuring that RISDA’s direction aligns with the smallholder development policy and national development policy.

     Formulating macro policies for smallholder development aimed at increasing income and creating a progressive and prosperous smallholder community.

     Ensuring that the implementation of smallholder development programs and projects aligns with the established policies and strategies.

     Serving as the central point of reference and coordinating decisions from main meetings with central agencies, as well as studies and research.

     Expanding and strengthening collaborative networks with government and private agencies in the national and international levels.

     Establishing a database on the target groups to assist with program and project planning, monitoring project implementation, and evaluating program impact.

     Supporting the enhancement of operational efficiency and effectiveness in RISDA through the strategic use of relevant ICT.

    • Focus on development activity of active smallholders who are business owners, dependent on their own gardens, with strong will and are interested in changing their lives.
    • Replanting rubber to the most profitable type of crop for smallholders.
    • Giving priority to the concept of group development.
    • Giving opportunity to progressive smallholders to develop farms individually.
    • Implement market-driven economic development projects.
    • Using appropriate services and expertise of subsidiaries to develop large-scale economic projects for the benefit and involvement of smallholders.
    • Formulate policies and strategies for smallholders development in line with the National Development Policy.
    • Formulate and coordinate the requirements of the Five Years Development Plan and the Annual Development Budget.
    • Formulate and update the Strategic Plan from time to time.
    • Create a system for monitoring, processing and analyzing the data of development program implementation.
    • Formulate data needs for the planning and monitoring of development programs.
    • Conduct and manage the socioeconomic studies of smallholders and the RISDA development program.
    • Manage the database of smallholders and the development program implementation.
