Alhamdulillah, Thanks God for His bounty and permission, RISDA Melaka is now able to give full commitment continuously in mobilizing energy to help smallholders earn an average collective income of RM4,395 per month by 2025. This commitment is strengthened based on RISDA's Strategic Planning Model (MPSR) 2021-2025 which is the focal point by taking into account from the aspect of high-impact programs or projects, is caring and targeted to be implemented during the Twelfth Malaysia Plan (12MP). In line with the Melaka Key Result Area (MKRA), there is a correlation between the implementation of the objectives of RISDA and the Melaka State Government in achieving the sustainability of economic development and the well-being of the people in the state of Melaka.
Hopefully with the involvement of each member of RISDA Melaka, each plays its own role and trust in ensuring the continuity of rural community development efforts can be achieved and run smoothly in line with the vision of the Melaka state government which is "Towards a Sustainable State 2035". High fighting spirit and sacrifice also need to be embedded in every aspect of work because indeed life is a journey that results in separation for the sake of unity. God's wisdom created the world so that everything in His knowledge would be revealed.
RISDA always hopes to create dynamic and viable smallholders in line with the Vision of Common Prosperity 2030, Rural Development Policy 2030, Malaysian Green Technology Master Plan, National Industry Policy 4.0, International Principles (Sustainable Development Goals) (SDG) ”2030 and also Melakaku Maju Jaya 2035.

The rubber industry smallholders development (RISDA) is a federal government agency under the Ministry of rural and regional development (KKLW) and was established on 1 January 1973 under the authorities of the rubber industry smallholders development (Act 85, 1972).
HistoryAccording to history, rubber trees or scientifically "Hevea Brasiliensis" is derived from the country of Brazil. Tree seed brought in to Malaya in the 19th century by H.N.Ridley Director of Botanical Garden in Singapore. To ensure the future of smallholders and further strengthen the country's rubber industry, the Government has undertaken a Replanting Plan carried out by the Board of Replanting the rubber industry (RUBBER). The plan focuses on inviting and encouraging replanting application only. 2nd plan implemented on January 1, 1953 and the objective is to grow the 1/3 of total area of rubber smallholding in the Federation of Malaya within the period of 7 years (1953-1959). During the period of the Melaka State set aside 10490 hectares.On 1 January 1973 the response from smallholders. Therefore, RISDA (Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority), was established to replace the RUBBER under the laws of Malaysia (85) 1972, Act of the authority the rubber industry smallholders. RUBBER Malacca started history in early 1953 with its Office located on the upper floors the Stadthuys, Malacca. The Office of the RUBBER REPLANTING Melaka only had 10 people 5 staff of clerks and a driver and lorry. The number of smallholders was 954 in total, 426 hectares. In 1957, Malacca RUBBER Office moved and set up his own in view of the increase in staff and functions. However the activities to develop the smallholder sector increasing. Accordingly, the BOARD was EVENTUALLY replaced with The smallholders Development Authority (RISDA) in 1973 where it is responsible for all aspects of the development of the smallholder sector. Through efforts to modernize RISDA smallholder sector by making research and innovations in the field of cultivation, use and supply of seeds, processing and marketing.
Then the RISDA has decided to enlarge the existing office building to a larger Office and comfortable to accommodate the duties and staff as well as smallholders in Melaka. Once construction is complete, Melaka State RISDA Office was back in operation at bangunan Stadthuys on 26 December 1979. RISDA building storeyed is estimated to be valued at 3.5 million have been completed in mid-1982 and has been used in full on 1 September 1982. For the opening ceremony of the building was officiated by Yab Dato ' Seri Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia on 19 December 1983.
