    Objective

     Assisting replanting smallholders to achieve a perimeter growth of 10 cm per year for rubber trees and shorten the period of rejuvenation to 2 ½ years for palm trees and rubber productivity of 1,800 kg/ hectare /year and oil palm at 20 MT/ hectare/ year in 2020 through cultivation of Good Agricultural Practices.

    • Continuous Cultivation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) to increase productivity.
    • Increasing the involvement of smallholders and household members in human capital development through guidance and training activities.
    • Provide formal or informal guidance to smallholders’ children to improve their skills.
    • Forming a group of leaders as the medium and facilitators for RISDA and the smallholders towards socio-economic development.
    • Guiding the smallholders in forming prosperous families through educational, community service, religious, economic, sports and cultural activities.
    • Carry out an informal learning process to motivate smallholders in accepting and practicing new technologies related to rubber and palm plantation.
    • Obtaining and refining technology from relevant research agencies for the smallholders.
    • Planning, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of Cultivating Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) development programs.
    • Planning communication strategy to wide spread related technology.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of related technology for modification and improvement.
    • Educate and train the smallholders as well as their family members.
    • Publish and distribute brochures concerning rubber technology, oil palms and other related matters to smallholders as reference.
    • Carry out social and institutional activities to improve the well-being of the smallholders family.
