In line with the tagline of the Division of Rapid Extension Drive Progression , BPPT launched the GAP 5 Revenue Marketing Strategy as a complement to the strategy chain in order to ensure smallholders adopt and cultivate all forms of Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) and strengthening of human capital as well as five major programs covering Expansion services, Technology and R & D, Development of RISDA Progressive Smallholder Community Centre (PMR) and Village Tuition Programme @ KKLW.
At the same time, BPPT has designed 'on job training' known as GAP Challenge to enhance technical skills among all field Expansion Officers.
It is hoped that these efforts and initiatives will have the solid support of all parties to ensure the development of the smallholder community continues to grow and be able to contribute to increase family income and thus help strengthen the economy of the nation.
